Awarding Bodies

Adult Learning in the UK is overseen by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
This is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England and vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland. It is their duty to ensure all learners get the results they deserve and that their qualifications are correctly valued and understood, now and in the future. To do so, "Awarding Bodies", recognised by OFQUAL, make sure that qualified training providers are maintaining standards in each subject from year to year.
