Level 3 Food Safety Qualification

This Level 3 Supervising Food Safety course covers the aspects of food hygiene and safety which enable candidates to avoid food safety problems areas and to recommend solutions to keep their workplaces safe .

The Level 3 course is aimed at those who are supervising other staff within a food business from catering to manufacturing or food retailing. Environmental Health Officers often recommend that all food premises should have at least one person with a Level 3 qualification – this can help prove they are running things properly and they are fully in charge of other staff and are responsible for the training of those staff.

This course provides a more in depth understanding of Food Safety than Level 2 and will also consider some of the implications of poor food hygiene.

The aim of this course is to provide a broad knowledge of food safety within a nationwide┬ácontext –┬ácandidates who have passed this course will have the appropriate knowledge and understanding to be able to take responsibility for food safety monitoring, to identify food safety hazards, take appropriate action to minimise or eliminate these hazards and contribute to good in food safety practices.
