Food Safety – how to prove due diligence

Due diligence is not required by law. It is a defence which the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006 allows you to use if you become involved in legal proceedings. Showing that you have used due diligence should also help you to avoid committing an offence in the first place.

Food Hygiene exam questions

We do not run mock exams however if you come on the Food Hygiene course then your instructor will take you through everything you need to know to pass the exam. The exam format is multiple choice with a pass mark of 70%.
