Work (3 day) course
In the UK mainland the
3 day First Aid at Work training courses are regulated by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the government organisation in charge of workplace health and safety. Only HSE approved organisations, such as Carlton Training Ltd, can provide such courses. Course content, assessment and duration is stipulated by the HSE under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. All First Aid at Work courses must be held over four days and culminate in an assessment exam during which the candidate must demonstrate both practical and theoretical knowledge in order to qualify.

Emergency First Aid
at Work (1 day) course
This is a basic first aid course which will equip candidates with the skills required to provide first aid during the most common emergency situations. The minimum required content is stipulated by the HSE and certification is recognised as suitable training for the workplace. Carlton Training offers Appointed Person / Emergency First Aid

Pediatric Fist Aid (2 day) course
This OSFTED and SureStart compliant Pediatric First Aid course provides delegates with confidence to manage a range of injuries, medial conditions, and childhood illnesses including anaphylaxis, asthma, and meningitis. This course meets the OFSTED/DfES & Sure-Start requirements for those working in care settings for the under 8's. Delegates get plenty of practice at resuscitation for children and babies, along with the recovery position, and minor injuries.
