A certificate, valid for
three years and recognised by
the Health & Safety Executive,
is awarded to each candidate who
reaches the required standard.
This certificate qualifies the
holder to act as a First Aider
at Work under the Health &
Safety (First Aid) Regulations
1981.

3-Day First Aid at
Work
It is a requirement of Health &
Safety at Work Act etc. Act 1974
that employers should provide a
safe environment for their
employees. If the assessment of
First Aid highlights the need
for qualified First Aiders, then
this course will provide you
with suitable training.
The 3-day First Aid at Work
training course covers a wide
range of First Aid techniques,
enabling candidates to deal with
an emergency situation with
confidence and provide prompt,
safe and effective treatment.
This course will give
participants a qualification in
First Aid, meeting the statutory
requirements of the Health &
Safety (First Aid) Regulations
1981. All successful students
will be issued with a First Aid
at Work Certificate, valid for a
period 3 years.
How will I be
assessed ?
Assessment is by two
independent assessors who will
expect you to demonstrate some
practical skills and answer
questions to prove your
knowledge of First Aid at Work.
Everything that you need to pass
the assessment will be covered
on the training course held at
our London training centre or
your workplace.
