Who
Who Should Attend?
The Intermediate Certificate
in Food Safety course is
designed for those working in
all businesses at supervisory
level. This includes
'traditional' supervisors and
team leaders, but also anyone
who needs a broad understanding
of food hygiene as part of their
work such as people involved in
the following functions:
- Quality assurance
- Handling customer
complaints
- Buying stock
Candidates will gain a broad
knowledge of food safety,
enabling them to identify
problem areas and recommend
solutions.
It is also an appropriate
qualification for those wishing
to progress via the Advanced
Food Hygiene Level 4 to teach
basic RSPH and CIEH Level 2 Food
Safety courses. See our

with an appropriate training
qualification (e.g.
PTLLS or the
CIEH Trainers Certificate)
To gain this the Intermediate
Food Safety qualification,
candidates for are assessed by a
