The Intermediate Certificate in Food Safety course is designed for those working in all businesses at supervisory level. This includes 'traditional' supervisors and team leaders, but also anyone who needs a broad understanding of food hygiene as part of their work such as people involved in the following functions:

  1. Quality assurance
  2. Handling customer complaints
  3. Buying stock

Candidates will gain a broad knowledge of food safety, enabling them to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.

It is also an appropriate qualification for those wishing to progress via the Advanced Food Hygiene Level 4 to teach basic RSPH and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety courses. See our special offer page for details when used in conjunction with an appropriate training qualification (e.g. PTLLS or the CIEH Trainers Certificate)

To gain this the Intermediate Food Safety qualification, candidates for are assessed by a assessment is by a one a half hour multiple-choice examination set by the Royal Institute of Public Health RSPH).

The cost of an individual place on a course at our training rooms is £305.00 each + VAT (£350.75 total). See dates below.

The cost of a course for up to ten persons on your own premises is £2500.00 + VAT. (£2875.00 total) Please contact us to arrange times and dates.
