First Aid at Work (Skills Update) - (half-day course)
This new course introduced and recommended by the Health and Safety Executive is for people who have passed the First Aid at Work (3-day) and Emergency First Aid at Work (1-day) course.
This recommendation is designed to increase the level of first aiders' skills and confidence by ensuring that skills and knowledge learnt during these initial courses are practiced and reinforced on a regular basis.
These updates are recommended only and not compulsory.
Who should attend?
Anyone who holds the First Aid Work or Emergency First Aid at Work (also known as Appointed Person) certificate. It is recommended that this half-day first aid update course should be carried out annually.
