7302 Certificate in Delivering Learning

The 7302 Certificate in Delivering Learning has been replaced by the award known as 7303  Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector which is also known as PTLLS.  This does not mean that as a trainer your existing award is not valid, however you will need to check with your employer or with the Awarding Body your organisation uses to find out if you need to upgrade to the new award.

LLUK (Life Long Learning UK) has some useful information on its website as well as a dedicated hepline which can provide advice.

Be very wary of anybody who tells you you need to upgrade or register with IfL (Institute for Learning) or upgrade to gain QTLS status “beacuse it’s the law”.  The legislation The Further Education Teachers’ Qualifications (England) Regulations 2007 regarding this is very specific and applies only to certain categories of teacher.  Check it out before you part with any money !
