The Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement course comprises of two units.

Within these units, we will teach you key principles and practices of assessment and how to assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding.

Unit 1: Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment

The first unit of this course will cover the important theory you need to know to effectively plan, conduct and develop assessments. We will cover a range of information and share our practical experiences to help you better execute your assessments in the learning environment. We will provide guidance and support, enabling you to progress and meet the course requirements.

Unit 2: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding

In the second unit of the Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement course, we will cover all practical skills required for confident assessment in a classroom or training environment. You will learn how to prepare and carry out assessments using a range of current, flexible and well proven assessing techniques.ย 

Within this section, you will be observed and assessed on the planning and execution of your classroom assessment. Our trainers will guide you through the tasks required.ย
